ClefTrax.
Small notes.
Big confidence.
Help beginning band students read a note, find the fingering, and play it on their instrument. Focused flashcards and musical challenges make it easy to practice the notes they need.
Treble & bass clef practice · Built for beginning band

More than a flashcard
Turn “What note is that?”
into “I can play that.”
Give students a clear next step when a note feels unfamiliar: reveal its name, check the fingering, then play it. Choose a few notes and build from there.
Notes that make sense
Practice treble or bass clef. Tap the card to reveal the note name, then move at your own pace.
Play it on your instrument
Listen Mode uses your microphone to recognize the note you play. The built-in tuner helps you check your pitch.
Find the fingering
Bring up instrument-specific fingering help or trombone slide positions when you need a reminder.
Choose your notes
Practice the notes in this week’s lesson. Hand-pick them right on the staff, save your set, and share it with students for focused practice at home.
Show it clearly
Use Show & Teach to display the note, its name, and fingering together during a lesson.
Make it feel like you
Choose Classic Look, Bebop Style, or Cosmic Groove. Switch between light and dark display modes.
